Schizotypal: Foreword by Kit Carruthers
This one is a good little label for how anybody within our happy gentle boring society who wishes to express an individuality is a crazy weirdo hippie. "Look at this weird loopy little bugger. See? This is what it looks like to express yourself. This is what expressing yourself looks like, hippies. It's fucking loopy. Turn it down a notch weirdo, just be a boring normal." At best it means you're unique at worst it means you're weird. Every single person with a unique charm, all of them, everyone you've ever known, everyone you've ever seen on television, if they have a unique charm they have a tiny amount of schizotypal.

The reason this is seen as a thing we are to be concerned about has to do with the fact that people feel like they can't connect, they feel isolated and find it difficult to form relationships. It isn't the condition's fault, it's society's. We all know the reason the schizotypal feels it doesn't fit in. Of course you drift into magical thinking when you're a weird person, you want to be weird you want to weird up your reality, the thought processes within this dysfunction obviously come with a function, abstract thinking, creative thinking. At the very top/bottom of schizotypal you may feel vaguely hallucinatory, the movement of shadows are a little psychedelic, sounds that nobody else can hear... You don't need to take this very seriously and become frightened that you're on the verge of schizophrenia. I can't promise you you're not on the verge of schiozphrenia, however it is highly unlikely. You're just weird, this aspect of it is actually kind of cool it's nothing to fear.

You are looking right at schizophrenia however it will likely only leak at you, not flood you. It all revolves around you and it is trying to tell you something. "Either I am the centre of everything or it's some kind of joke. A trick." You feel like you have it for just a second and then it slips away, you're looking right at "It all makes sense" but you have no idea what it is. You know this is basically foundational psychedelia, a little bit you live in psychedelia. A little bit. "It's hinting at something... But then it just laughs at me and tells me I'll never get it, it calls me delusional. I keep trying and trying, I piece things together, but then it's just ridiculous and it all falls apart. But I'll let you all know I'm trying and tell you all about my delusional abstractions, that I know full well are delusional abstractions. Because I'm weird. I like being weird. I hope you all understand I'm weird. I made up a religion. I'm the only one in it. It doesn't make any sense to me either."

Unlike the very top of schizoid, the very top of schizotypal "You are the centre of everything" does not make you selfish and self interested, it does not make you think of yourself as the only person with any validity. However like schizoid, only at the very very top do you ever feel this. Everyone beneath the very top does not have even a tiny amount of I am the centre of everything.
